Bold 9000 or 8900
Hey guys, i have a curve 8900 series, and i was wondering is hould trade for the bold 9000 or something, because for the bold i really love they keypad its so nice and big and i never made mistakes on my old bold, but what really kills the bold is the 2.0 mega pixel camera to as the 8900 has a 3.2 mp camera and the 8900 has 256 MB ram as to the bold has 128 :( what do you guys think?

I'd say there is no point now. There are new devices on the horizon along with a new OS coming out. Keep your money if you can and at least wait till more if known about the Bold 9800 etc...
I'm keeping my Bold because there is literally nothing the 9700 can do that my Bold 9000 cannot.

Well, for me I love my bold to bits. Never tempted to change it to 8900. Maybe if RIM comes up with something better than my Bold, then I might tempted to buy it. But will keep my 9000 as my 2nd phone. :)

im wondering here, cuz my 8900 someone locked it to their acocunt and i cant use the email feature, but otherwise its a great phone :3 but the b old is kinda good too i rlly like the keyboard and it has a ncie feel to it, but alot of ppl are getting screen of death :S

Ive had both, both have their advantages and disadvantages. The Bold is large, 2.0 camera, really snappy response, 3G enabled. The 8900 has a 3.2 AF camera, more app memory, smaller, no 3G. I liked both and this 9700 seems to have a good mix of both.

I love my Bold 9000. The camera takes decent pictures too. 3G is a bonus. I haven't run out of app memory yet despite running numerous apps.

I switched from the 8900 to the bold and I don't regret it one bit.

Try upgraded to the latest 9000 Leaked OS .681 - no white screens, no auto reboots, no issues!! Much better memory, battery life, and all-together MUCH better OS!
