Bluetooth Driver Problem
There are times when I want to use Bluetooth for tethering and synching between my BB9900 and Toshiba Windows 7 laptop. It is not always convenient to use the USB cable.
I know that Blackberry Desktop Manager does not work with Toshiba Bluetooth drivers, so I bought a USB Bluetooth dongle and disabled the Toshiba Bluetooth.
When I installed the USB Bluetooth, all of the necessary drivers (including the Windows Generic BT driver) installed OK and I was able to connect and sync between BDM and the 9900.
After a restart of my PC, the two devices are paired OK, but I can no longer sync and Windows says that it cannot find all of the drivers that it needs.
I would welcome any suggestions.
Thanks

Sorry, please can this be moved to the Desktop Software forum?

Delete all your pairings on the computer and the phone.
Then do it "Exactly" like this. I figured this out one day after a couple of gillion cuss words.

Hopefully this is what you end up with.

Do I know why this method works and using the Bluetooth icon in the system tray doesn't? HeII No!
Go Figure! :)
