On Monday I received a replacement for my defective Bold 9650, and all went well setting up the replacement, until today I left it unattended for a few minutes and the screen went black with the keyboard lit up and the red LED light blinking twice every 2 or 3 seconds. I'm clueless as to what might have happened, I haven't even plugged it into my computer yet. Does anyone know what could've happened?

You might have bricked the device.

Download this version of OS 6:

    OR
    OS 5
    Install it

Now follow these steps on upgrading your OS properly.

If an OS upgrade does not work, it could mean a hardware failure of the unit. Return your device to your carrier for another replacement.
