My daughter's Bold will not bring up the "close menu" while on the internet as it has done in the past. Any suggestions?

ok so let me get this straight... you would be on the internet on the bold and browsing away, and then you would hit the BB button to close the browser? yea hmmm hitting the BB button once should never close the browser... hitting the BB button will bring up a menu with alot of options to choose from, like back, forward, options, refresh, close etc etc...

Ok,
1. Check if menu (bb) key is working in other app like inbox, phone book and others, if not BB key press issue
.
2. If its only with Internet browser, clean cache (press s and scroll to cache operations) ... Clean logs... Pull battery.. Wait for 30 seconds minimum... Insert battery and check again...
.
If still not solved...
Take phone backup and wipe your BB... See of it works...still not.... Re install OS

Take to repairing shop..
