my blackberry bold (not sure which subset it is) is not turning on. I've been having problems for about a week or so with the phone just shutting off even if I have it charged for hours. It'll go from being totally charged to dead in ten minutes and last night it died and I wasn't able to charge it so it sat uncharged over night and when I went to charge it up the next day, it wouldn't turn on at all. It just blinks four times and remains black. Any suggestions? I have dropped it maybe four times and have only had it since christmas.

Have you pluged it into BlackBerry desktop manager and does it recognize it?

I'd also think about the battery causing your problems. A complete drainage within such a short time is highly unlikely a result of a software related flaw. Check Amazon or Crackberry Shop for replacement batteries, they aren't that expensive.
