I have a official RIM unlocked Bold.

How do I update the firmware in the phone and how long would it take me

Dont take this the wrong way but this is a question that, if you had done a search would have pointed you in the right direction. Seriously theres like a million threads on this particular subject....but seeing as im in a pretty good mood...ill help ya out.

Download the OS from that thread...read the thread as well as it has plenty of info as to how to go about it. By the way that link has the latest and official RIM OS for the Bold.

Usually it will take about 30-60 mins for the upgrade...quite easy to do as long as you follow the steps concisely. Also DO NOT forget to backup your data as when you do the upgrade, your device gets wiped clean ie nothing will be left on the phone.
