Every once in a while my bold 9900 will overheat and completely drain the battery. I bought my bold 9900 right when it came out this summer and it would only do it occasionally at first but now it's starting to happen on a daily basis. I'm wondering if anybody else has experienced this yet with theirs?

Overheating?? I would try and warranty that phone sooner than later. It can't be a good thing.

It's weird, sometimes I'll just take it out of my bag and it will be ridiculously hot for absolutely no reason! I always make sure I don't have extra apps running in the background as well. I guess I just got unlucky, I'll go see if I can get a new one with my carrier.

I have noticed that mine is hot a times as well although it does not seem to drain the battery.

mine also gets hot but you just take off the back of the battery case and let it cool down or take the battery out
