    When I go to manage connections to connect to wifi there is no wifi connection process all it says is Mobile Network and Blue tooth? How do I get around this and connect to wifi because I don't have a data plan?

    You get a data plan. WiFi on older BlackBerry devices only work with the proper provisioning. That provisioning comes by way of service books. Services books get pushed to your device through.. you might have guessed it..... a data plan.
