    My blackberry bold 9700 was working fine but then i got a bold 3 so i didnt use the bold 2 so wheni when to use it i notice the screen was white so i am trying the tutorial reload the os but i cant remember the password for my blackberry and i cant see the screen and when i try to use BBSAK to wipe the phone it ask for password but i cant remember it so can someone please help me and when i connect to app loader it says connecting to ARM..... And then
    "A connection to the device could not be established. Please ensure that the device is properly connected to the cradle or USB cable, and that the cradle or USB cable is connected securely to your computer. Also ensure that the device has completed any startup operations. Then run the Application Loader Wizard again."

    Please HELP!!

    Try unplugging the 9700, removing the battery, then reconnecting to PC.
    Run Loader, then re-insert the battery. Hopefully Loader "catches" the OS as it reboots.
    As soon as you see your PIN appear on Loader, click Next* right away.

    *sorry can't remember if the actual option is labeled "Next" or something similar, but I hope you get what I mean!

    not physical crack like not lines in screen like inside the lcd is like black and white with vertical line and like i dont know if that is the right screen model for the phone if that might cost that

    Has the 9700 been dropped at all?

    Because the LCD can crack on the inside. The result is a white screen with streaky black "shadows" like an after image of what should be there.

    wait when i change screen on next bold 9700 motherboard the screen has less crack when i put it on other it has the whole screen about 20% showing what the problem
