I have a 9700 and it is in standby mode and I can't seem to get it out of standby mode. It says to hit the lock key on top of your phone but there is no lock key. HELP PLEASE

There is no actual button for the lock. The entire top corners are the button. If that won't work try doing a battery pull.

while looking at your BB, its the button on the top left... push that

I found it. You have to hold the disconnect button down. Thanks anyway.

hmmm the "disconnect" aka End button, turns off the phone... yes that does technically unlock the phone... but the easiest way is the top left button... the top left area of the device is a lock button... see picture:

Stand by is the top right button if the lock button on the top left doesn't work
