Well .. You said it.. OS 4.6 is the problem

upgrade to 5.0 you'll see a huge diff between them

like .. speed , battery life , some visual changes and lot of stuff

im on 5.0.0.681 the leaked one and its working 100%

Agree to upgrade new OS to 5.0.0.681 it's official for some operator. You may not install too many apps on Bold9000 or you will loss your memory.

My 9000 runs just fine on OS 4.6. There are lots of possible troubles including the OS.

    Installed any new apps recently?

    Done a battery pull lately?

If problems persist come back with more information about apps running in the background and installed apps. Someone may have the answer.

My suggestion is upgrade it to the .681 OS. It's the best OS I've ever tried so far. And I'm sure you'll see the difference.

Try deleting Facebook, if you've got it installed. That app is the worst thing for a 9000 running 4.6. You won't regret it. I'm on 5.0.0.681 and still, I refuse to put that crap on my berry.

I would suggest deleting App World. It is a huge memory hog. I get most of my apps/themes from the CrackBerry App Store. If there is something that I absolutely need App World for, I uninstall App World immediately after downloading the app from there.

.681 is by far the best yet...no lock ups, no auto rebooting, better memory and battery life, etc.
