    Hm. thats weird.

    The only think i know that vanilla has to do with phones is that "Vanilla Android" is stock Android. (No HTC Sense UI or TouchWiz)

    a vanilla OS is the OS direct from RIM (or any manufacturer) before the carriers add their useless bloatware to it.
