I purchased a 9900 in UK last week, while in there used with my AT&T sim had no issues, when i returned to the U.S my phone only has edge service. Anyone else run into this?

Did you buy from Vodafone UK? It is to do with bands. AT&T use different band for 3G, where as Voda UK uses different band.

3G should work on tmobile, hopefully.

Thanks for the reply, I bought it @ the carphone warehouse unlocked, i bet you are correct, my friend put in his sim an had 3g. Well it sounds like a good phone to use while I am in the UK. Seems like a waste to TOP-UP a bold 9900
