My older Blackberry Curve had a battery relearn function or app, I can't remember now but I can't seem to find such a thing with my 9900. Basically my phone will go from fully charged to empty at random periods throughout the day and my phone is no longer reliable...

I can't help but wonder if the issue is related to a common complaint that Whatsapp users have on various phone platforms (Blackberry mostly but plenty with Android) whereby they experience the same issue...

But prior to uninstalling Whatsapp, I was curious if the Blackberry Bold 9900 has any kind of hidden battery relearn feature?

    Thanks in advance!

If by a releasing app you mean a battery saving app, then yes, the 9900 does have one. It can be found in the Option>Device>Battery saving Mode.

Do not leave whatsapp running in the background, close the application when you finish. You will still receive messages if the app is closed. Have you tried a new battery?
