Hey everyone , i'm still new in CB .

My 9780 is kinda weird , when i charge it , it battery bar jump to 100% from (i think a 80%)
And it shutdown at 30%-50% , sometime when i use flash camera at 60%-80% battery . It show a notice "battery low , can't use camera flash or whatever"

I have try to replace new battery 2 times , and reinstall OS

What should i do ? Maybe it have hardware problem?

*sorry about my bad english x_x*

The flash doesn't work at 50% or below, probably to save battery

I was using Blackberry Bold 9780 last year and got the same issue. Once on charging the it quickly got charged and in two hours or so it was almost back to zero. I also replaced the battery but dint work. The best thing to do is to give it to the Blackberry Service center and ask for the solution because its certainly not battery issue if you have got it replaced twice!

    Cheers!

Where are you getting your replacement batteries from? Ebay or a Quality Source? Soooooo many cheap fakes around that cause serious troubles like this.

I have been experiencing the same stuff. the battery works fine with my 9700 lasted for a day or two. but always drain in 5 hour or so with my wife's 9780. I have been reading other people having a similar problem. wiping does not work as well. I think it is the hardware, I have not tried the service center since the warranty has long gone. good luck all

mine had the same problem earlier this month... getting warm and drained in hours all of the sudden for a few days...
i then wiped it and reinstalled the os. just happened to come across the latest version and went ahead install it on my 9780...
lo and behold, no more battery problem... so i was lucky and the problem was on the os get hay-wired or something... otherwise if hardware related i read it might be the ic got toasted...
