    Is this gonna happen anytime soon? I'm planning to buy a 9790 but I want the os from 9720...or is there any other way to get it other by official means? and Bb 9790 has 8gb storage, does that mean I can install 8gb of apps or only 768mb is allotted for apps?

    You can't install an OS for another device on the 9790. You could possibly extract some system files from the other OS and install/inject them in to the 9790. See this thread, for example.

    And whatever the system says is storage allotted for app installation, I'd go by that number.

    9790 has 8gb storage and 768mb ram
    9720 has 512mb storage and ram...so please explain
