Please read the complete post on BGR. It also shows the 8530 in the inventory system. It also is showing CLEAR inventory shots, and none of this blurry cam BS.

this is just a clear confirmation that bell will be getting it.

I think the real question is the status of the Bell/Telus HSPA network.

I have a decent Bell contact that told me they were hopeful by the Olympics, said with a sense of pessimism however. (The Olympics are in February)

I had heard the target was this fall.

Now that the Bold2 is confirmed to be coming to Bell. I wonder if I should leave Rogers? Rogers can no longer claim to have an edge above the competition.

Any word when Bell might get the 9700?

I would say depending on where you are, It will be available nationwide, before the 2010 olympics.

BUT

will it be worth it to buy without having a HSPA network to use it on?

I know Vancouver will be the first to get it, and then I assume Toronto and surrounding areas, then Montreal.

Slowly from there I think it will be nationwide.

I would say the timeline would be anywhere from mid/late november to ramp up Christmas sales, to Q1 2010.

It is really in the air, until we get a confimred leak on when Blell is launching the HSPA network.
