I just upgraded to the 9700 from the 9000. I am going to sell the 9000 to either a friend or eBay. I was wondering the best way to get all of my personal info off the devise. I would like to keep the themes and some of the apps on the phone to increase interest in the phone. I've heard of master resets, wipes etc. but I'm not really familiar with the differences. I am just looking for some advice or thoughts. Thanks

Options>security>wipe handheld. That will erase all personal data on the phone.

Yes, but does this keep themes and selected apps? He wants to keep some stuff on it.

Just wipe your phone as stated above and reinstall the apps and themes you want on there.
