    Hello all,
I am getting a the torch 9810. Hard decision between that and the bold 9900 . But I am handing down my 9700 to my mom. However, I am always in and out of OS's. I was just wondering what is the most reliable OS where she won't have problems. As she will be using it for work. Thanks

    The household 9700 runs 6.0.0.
    600 without a hitch. Recommended.

Shrink always. Have not tried .615. There may be a thread in the 9700 frum to help.

I recommend OS 5.0.0.862, 5.0.0.930 or 5.0.0.1014. No memory leak, no misinterpreted/hit-miss battery meter either.

I've tried .615 and the battery drain and memory leak were just too much on that one, so I went back to .576. This one seems to be the most stable for me, although I haven't tried the .600.

I always shrink mine and haven't had any issues. Not that you'd take any advice from a newbie, but maybe it'll help you decide anyway!

I found .615 to be the best for memory leak and battery drain on my phone! Weird! Out of all the variants of OS6 I ever had on it, the memory hardly shifted 10Mb while using the phone!

I guess it must be all to do with what apps you have running

I guess so. From what I gather reading everyone's experiences with the different builds, they all mostly work differently for everyone.

Sure would like one of those 9900's tho! No leaks or crashes there!
