Anyone know the best website to order an unlocked Bold 9900? I tried Amazon but they're all priced above $800. Thanks in advance.
These devices are all running for the same money pretty much everywhere. I went to a store here in nyc that wanted $1000 for a rogers unlocked one. I think your best best is ebay, that's how i got mine.

Remember the name of the store??

if u have atat could u get either 9900 or 9930? does it matter?
im stuck on atat and dont really know what to do should i wait or suck it up and pay the termination fee and jump to verizon or buy an unlocked phone?
one more question if i get an unlocked phone will atat activate it or do i have to find a way to do it on my own?

well when I talked with verizon customer service they said that after buying the phone I should call them and then they will give me a code to enter, which will enable me to use the phone on other networks..
including GSM networks , because the 9930 has gsm features..
Check before buying the 9930. I bought the 9900 so I could get H+ speeds. The unlocked 9930 will only give you EDGE speeds which makes a big difference.
As far as Rogers, they sell Rogers branded devices. Those once unlocked will give you H+ speeds. However they are not selling them that easily without a contract and most stores insist that you at least have to be a Rogers customers(I'm with AT&T). That's why I avoided all the hassles and bought the unbranded one.
tech specialist from verizon customer service said that you would be able to use the phone with not only edge but 3g also..
