So my girl is still rocking the 9700 and I respect that, but she's currently sitting at .938 of OS5 and her battery life sometimes seems to be harry pottered away.
One day it's fine and the other it drains like ****!
Now I hear you all saying: why not just go to OS6?
Simple: women hate change!
So the question to you guys is:
Which OS5 is considered to be the best according to battery life and 'smoothness and snappiest' ?
I beg of you all dont go shouting 'go os6 it's way better', trust me: me and my 9780 know!

I stopped updating my 9700 at .862 and I'm still rockin' it now... however I always had a soft spot for .656

.656 was IMO the first bug-free, stable and snappy OS for the 9700, a bit like .480 was for the 9780

Agreed on .1014. It was the best for me before OS6.

If I ever make the decision to jump back on the OS 5 bandwagon, i'll have to choose 5.0.0.1014 or 5.0.0.938. .938 was ever so rock solid. I will never forget it

I was able to pull around 3 days on OS5.
I do around 2 on OS6, but I find myself using my BB more now with OS6 than I did on OS5.

Yeah, currently I'm stick with OS 6 . I only hate the tray . OS 5 looks old in my 9700
