I just upgraded to 4.6... i just got my bold today... and i keep getting that stupid little annoying black block popping up about every ten seconds its annyoning... should i go to a different os or what will make this go away?

I loved 185, and 247 has been pretty good also. Both are stable with no issues. YMMV.

.266 Is the latest official release, since Vodafone released it. I chose to run the East Asia Beta instead though, since reviews pointed to less installation problems with it. I'd advise going with .266 EA.

Also, please remember to search. This topic has been discussed many times, and those threads have gone very deep into the pros/cons of the various OS updates available for the Bold.

.247 > .266 IMO. Mainly b/c I don't like my Bold to reboot when I rewind a podcast/song/video.

I went back to the .266 and it is great.

Another vote for .247 from me. Used .266 for awhile, but I'm back on .247. I just prefer it more.

I am staying with .237, this was always a solid one with good performance and no issues with my BB. Until there is a OS that offers something different, I am sticking with it.

this is becoming redundant.

.266 is as stable as it can be. battery lasts me well through the day. browser is pretty quick.
