hi, is it possible to back up device with bbhtool? and if yes, how? so i can delete DM as i only use it for backing up device. thanks

you can't do a device backup w/ BBHTool,,, you can backup your shrink settings is all,,, it is specifically for shrinking BBOS pre "10" by removing unwanted apps such as languages,games, etc. that you don't use,,, it very handy as you can remove as much as 100mb of unused bloatware, giving you more room for Appworld apps or any pics, vids or music you save to device memory,,, there isn't one yet for BB10 devices...

if they could improve on dtm playbook backup times, i'd be ok w/ that,,, i've got about 12GB on my 64 gigger, & it takes a while to do a backup,,, phone takes maybe 1/2 a minute, if that...

P.S. my personal rule of thumb is, if you're not sure whether or not you need a particular app,,, leave it in,,, & be sure to always have a fresh desktop manager backup handy...

Yes, u can backup on BBHTools but only ur 3rd party app and ur modules ( .cod files )...
U still need DM for backup all of ur data...
DM can backup 3rd party app too, but much easier on BBH Tools...
