Lately I have been noticing if I am on my BB all day and trying to get on the internet or search something, I will have like 40% battery life yet and while I am on the website a message will pop up saying battery drained shutting down. Well when I hit any key it will stop the shut down and I am able to use my phone again like normal. Anyone else have this issue? Any reason why it happens... I am running OS6. Thanks.

Sounds like you're using an early version of OS6

The rapid battery drop was a common issue with older OS6 builds, but was fixed in .480 and above.

That would be .526 then, which is strange because I thought this issue had been fixed by that build. There are a few other later OS versions available though, so it might be worth trying one of them.

To find out which OS you're running, just press Alt + Right Shift + H from your home screen.

    3rd line down... App Version
