Hey peoples. Here's the deal,
My blackberry browser is not going to any site. It just sits there and requests and does nothing. I tried many different sites and nothing.
I use opera mainly, but need bb browser to download OTA stuff.
Opera is working fine, I'm in 3G and im running at -70dbm (that's basically what I'm always at)
Phone is running 4.6.0282
Any solution would be great because as I said, I can't do any ota downloads without the bb browser (unless there's a way with opera mini I don't know about)

Oh and I tried a batt pull and my memory is good (at about 45)

Ok so I resent the service books (did it through the att bis website) and nothing. Did a batt pull, nothing. Re did the info for the pin and imei number, registered. And sent services book...nothing.

This has never happeded before and is completly weird to me.
Any other ideas?

Ok one other thing. My facebook, viigo and app world aren't connecting properly. Yet pandora is running fine

I don't know if this is a fix but it can't hurt.

open the browser, menu, options, clear cache.

under browser config, uncheck support javascript.

Try reloading your os,sounds like some browser modules are playing up

Tried clearing the cache and stuff, didn't work.

So I was sitting down, browsing CB, when all of a sudden I started getting like 20 emails and my facebook app started showing like 10 notifications. Then my screen went white with "error 523"
And it gave me the option to reset. I did, prayed to the rim gods, and now everything is working (including my browser). Totally fn weird!

Any ideas what 523 means?

Nevermind it started again. Reloading os as soon as I get home. Will report

ok so i figured out a fix for right now. It seems to only be working over wifi

still have to do the os reload

Go to Options>Advanced Options>Host Routing Table>Menu>Register Now. After you register HRT go to the AT&T BIS page and resend the service books.

I notcied that under options>advanced> cell broadcast settings, that it says off...does that matter?

so i reloaded the os and still...the browser only works over wifi.....i really do not get it.

is there a way to remove the BB browser, and then install it again

As far as my situation, I realize that I don't get emails untill I am in wifi range.

And metroatlanta, check out the addicts in the storm section. They can most likely help you better with your situation
