good day to all.

this is my problem for BB bold 9790

the battery was drained. so basically, i charge it.

but there was no led lights like it was used to be.

i tried to connect it to pc with and without the battery but it cant be detected.

the device wont start up. no led lights. nothing.

the device only heats up when i tried charging it.

can anyone please help me.

the device was given to me as a gift so i dont know if the warranty is still in effect.

This device was released in 2011. Highly doubt there is any warranty still applied. And the issue is that the device is simply put beyond its life expectancy. If you have the box you can check the manufacturing date. Another thing you can do is buy a new battery and see if they works out. And then the alternative is to get a BlackBerry 10 device. Q5/Q10 being it's equivalent. Classic is a pricey at the moment.
