    So I bought myself a BB 9900 and I saw that it doesn't have those metalish bands within the keyboard rows. It has them but they are black. Is this somekind of fabrication issue, were there several models made, including this one, or its just from usage(i bought the terminal SH) ?

    I've noticed on some 9900s the metal in between the keys will wear and yes it is black under the metal chrome look. Was this a new or used device?
