    Hi all,

    My battery drains REALLY fast, which mean that everytime I reach the 60% or 50% of the battery it drops till 0%, appear the yellow light and it turns off the radio coverage because it says that I do not have enough battery.

    I checked in the Device Analizer and it is clear, the graphic shows that I have 60% of the battery in a couple of minutes it drops (84%/hour!) till 0%.

    I haven't installed any new app or anything new, I have all the apps updated.

    A few days ago I updated to last official OS for my Bold 9900, the 7.1.0.862.

    As it is an official release, I do not think that this will be the cause.

    Also, the same is happening to my girlfriend's and brother's Bold 9790.

    Anyone knows any clear solution?

    That could be the reason. Re-install the previous software version and test it out.

    If that doesn't work, I would purchase a new battery.

    you can also calibrate your battery. Get the battery to all radios off stage and then charge it to 100% and see how it goes.
    How old is the battery ?

    The battery is about 7 months ago. I will try to calibrate as you said, didn't know that.

    It should "reset/calibrate" the battery?

    hope it works for you, mate !
    battery has a life of approx 420 full cycle charges and also you can try by uninstalling all 3rd party apps and reintalling them one by one. I had a similar problem and one of my apps was the culprit and since then i am good to go.

    It's probably either a bad app, or a defective battery. Definitely try the battery calibration first though.

    I had this problem. Well for me it would drop just like you described, but then if I did a battery pull it would be almost back to normal. I never worried about it too much, it rarely happened
