Verizon is sending me a new Bold because I had a bad tour, I need to know how to backup my 3rd party apps can anyone help? Also does desktop manager backup my blackberry messenger contacts? or will i have to renter them all manually?

you can use BBSAK to back up your 3rd party apps. i know theres a way to do it with DM (not 100% sure on how to do it) but i use BBSAK. also there is a way to back up your bbm contacts using ur email or ur sd card in the phone. go into your bbm and select options. in there you'll find backup then it'll ask if you want to backup remotely or on memory card. hope this helps

If you have paid apps, you will need to get new registration codes to match the new pin. The device switch wizard in Desktop Manager reinsalled my apps but, again, I did need to re-reg some of them..

ok when I backup and restore my bbm contacts will it automatically send my new pin to the contacts in my bbm?
