    Will a back up file created on my BB Bold 9700 running OS 5 be compatible and run on a new BB Bold 9900?

    well the back up file only creates a back up of information such as contacts, and the answer is yes

    if you run the device switch wizard and expect the apps and themes to be there, they wont.
