    Every time (well past two downloads) when I download a movie or a short music video my Bold power cycles if i try to skip further into it.... anybody know why??

    What OS are you running? That problem seems to have been addressed in later OS versions.

    I'm more interested in the numbers that come after the 6...

    Most AT&T Bolds shipped with 4.6.0.167... which is a buggy OS. Most users here have had great luck with 4.6.0.247 and 4.6.0.266. 4.6.0.282 is out now too (see the sticky at the top of the Bold forum) but I haven't even looked at that OS yet. I like to tinker with the OS 5 betas over in the beta OS forum.

    I have experienced the same thing many times...I am using .266 right now. My solution is that I just make sure that I scroll the trackball before I skip to the next track. It seems to work fine that way.
