    When dealing with the insurance they send new
    devices not refurbs. I confirmed this with my ATT
    rep. I received my device in an unopened blackberry box w all accesories.
    I still wasn't convinced so read all the fine print an to
    my surprise noticed "refurbs 90 warranty, "Insurance replacements
    1yr warranty". So the end result I have another "new" Bold =)

    mine was a refurb. that was not from insurance tho. the "refurb" worked 100% better than my "new" bold ever did...

    My gf just got her Bold stolen and got a brand new one from AT&T insurance. But for some reason the guy at the AT&T store took her old SIM out from her RAZR (her phone before her Bold got stolen, in order to get her contacts) instead of giving her a new SIM with her phone and so the phone was acting all crazy and she could not figure out why... until I tried my SIM and it registered with BB and all her pin contacts came through so now she is waiting to go back to AT&T for the new SIM and to probably complain until she gets her 150 back for the hassle...
