    You could always unlock one and go to T-Mo, though, if you didn't want AT&T.

    Correct me if I am wrong but isn't it possible for you to buy a bold direct from RIM and have it work with verizon and sprint?
    The Bold is a GSM phone, Verizon and Sprint are not GSM carriers...so no that wouldn't work.

    Its the samething in Canada, Bold is only sold by Rogers which is a GSM network.

    Bell and Telus are both CDMA networks.

    Also, I don't believe you'd get 3G on T-Mobile's network in the US. I believe they use a different frequency for their 3G than AT&T (or anyone else in the world I think). So unless the size/keyboard of the 8900 is an issue, I'd get that if I was on T-mobile and take the subsidized price. Just thought I'd throw that out there. (My opinion of course.)

    In the US (for BOLD)

    ATT= 3G
    TM= EDGE (2G) using an unlocked BOLD (purchased from other than TM)

    no other carriers have GSM
