Applications for the Bold

Hey,

I've been searching for cool applications for the Bold and they are too scattered EVERWHERE.

Here are a few good ones:

Viigo - Great application for RSS feeds, Weather, Score updates, etc

mypoynt.com - free instant messaging directory service - Home - Amazing directory application with a Movie Showtimes section (all neighborhood specific)

Bolt Browser - The newest in browsers.... very different from BB browser and Opera - worth checking out

I second both the AP News Mobile and Slacker Radio. I would add CNBC, Bloomberg, Google Maps and PeekaWho.

How does the AP News Mobile stack up better than just going to cnn.com or msnbc.com?

I don't wanna add more junk than I need.

I own both PeekAWho and Aerize, and I gotta say I like Message Peek better than both so far.

Of course this is subjective but imo the layout, graphic and navigation is much better. it includes local news (once you put in your zip code) and it automatically refresh every time your scroll over the tab giving you the latest news. Again, this is just my opinion/preference.

What are apps? I thought the Bold was just for making calls and typing text messages.

BBNotepad is a must and flycast :D

Google Maps got me out of trouble multiple times. I like the traffic on Handango Inhand.

Never heard of BBnotepad. Is it worth having? What does it do besides save .txt files on the sd card?

I would love to try SocialScope but since it is a closed beta, I have been waiting over a month for an invite to d/l. I hope it is worth the hype.
