Third, what apps are you running on your phone? Facebook and Viigo have been known to be mermory hogs! If you have these actively running on your BB, delete them and see how your performance is.
I have this issue too...wait wait..no I don't. I close my apps properly...except when the hands of my wife touch my phone, everything is open! I hate that ****.

Well there you go. Messengers are HOGS. Especially when you open them all at the same time and leave them open for a while. On days when I use BBM or Beejive REALLY heavily, I need to do a battery pull every so often throughout the day.

Be sure to close your applications properly and possibly look into getting a multi-protocol IM client such as Beejive IM so that you only have to have one application running instead of two or three.
Get rid of unwanted apps, as described in the link I provided. Perform daily manual battery pulls (not QuickPull). Save any important messages and delete the rest. Same goes for emails, if any.
