Will being on EDGE w ATT and w my 9780 be ok or will i regret leaving t mobile?
Have a Iphone 4 on att and want to sell it and use my tmobile 9780 edge only...

Are you asking if the edge signal on AT&T sucks or if having edge on a phone sucks? I have AT&T and in my opinion, edge rocks, I get full signal wherever I go, now the speed is slow, but that's the technology, not the carrier.

You could sell your 9780 as well and get a Canadian 9780 (from Rogers or Telus) it will work with AT&T's 3G.

Flyer is right, ATTs EDGE is strong, and if you are only looking to like email and BB as well as surf you will be fine.

and yes, you could sell your TMO 9780 and pick up a Rogers, Bell or Telus (or one of their subsidiaries) and use it fill 3G on ATT

Thanks guys! I want to just keep my 9780 and use it on my att number. T Mobile coverage is horrible for the most part...i wont need browser much w my bb...

I have a friend who uses his T-Mo 9780 on the AT&T network and it does just fine.

I'm using it with Att right now. Even though it is EDGE, the speed is quite OK for normal emailing.
