I am about to upgrade my bold to .266 and want to get rid of a bunch of junk in the java folder. I was doing this with my 8310. Do i still need to delete unwanted "crap" like languages, voice recorder, help (i dont use those) before i load .266
Or should i just delete the vendor files and load .266
ok, thanks. I think i am just going to use crackmem to upgrade my OS and take out the unwanted stuff.
Crackmem does the difficult stuff like multimedia demo bloatware, Then the human has to step in and (de)select the unwanted components remaining in Desktop Manager.
Don't worry about handling languages at raw file level, just make sure you only select the ones you use.
