I am wondering if anyone has a Bold 9900 in Red Deer, AB. Are you able to get on the H+ network in Red Deer? I tried the Bell store and they told me only 3G in Red Deer. But then he told me that he has the Motorola Atrix and he gets H+ in Red Deer and between 5 and 7Mbps download. I assume that since the Atrix and 9900 are on the same network I should be able to get H+ in Red Deer. Some of these reps are terrible at selling the Blackberry. One Bell store told me the completely wrong specs for the Bold 9900. Shocker.

What speeds are you getting when tethered or otherwise in Red Deer?

I want to use the phone tethered so I want to make sure the speed is good in my area.

Red deer has 21Mbps coverage and Bold H+ uses 14.4 profile. Atrix 4G is 14.4 as well. I don't see why it wouldn't be H+

I got the 9900 and love it. It is indeed H+ here in Red Deer.

I wish the sales reps would learn the products they are trying to sell. A Bell sales rep at a Bell Store told me that I would have to go with a Galaxy S II or motorolla Atrix in order to get the H+ network and that if I got the Bold 9900 I would be stuck on 3G. Screw off and learn your products *** clown.

Makes me wonder how much blackberry sales are hurting because many Cell Phone stores are giving out incorrect info (specs and network speeds) about the new Blackberry 7 phones.

Sometimes I know more than store guys do when it comes to particular devices. When I go there to pick up a phone, I show them my DC aircard and other new gadgets all the time lol.
