Are you kidding me? Too much phone? I didn't think someone could have too much phone.
Ha, I mean, touch screen and full keyboard that's awkward, ...I'm perfeclty content at where blackberry is now, its just preference, but we will see as the months wind down to the curve touch

had the 9650 for a month than dropped it for the evo4g.
i feel the same on this, the bold 9930 looks amazing, videos look great of it in action...
but the evo3d...is amazing as well, 9930 - 1.2ghz processor, evo3d dual core 1.2ghz processor(underclocked from 1.5) and it can record 720p videos..in 3D and 1080p in 2D.
I will strongly consider the 9930 though, looks like an amazing phone.
Yea that's what I was thinking to, the evo3d is looking really nice

I'll take a look at it when it comes out. I would like a bigger screen, but I don't know if I'd like a phone that is too big and I've never been a touch screen fan. So I'm not sure what I'll do.

Get the Torch 2. It's got a bigger screen but you can use it like a non touchscreen, or the Bold Touch has that same capability.
Does the torch 2 do anything the bold touch can't do (other than the slide up function) and vice versa?

According to everything I have read all the new phones are the same except for form factor. Performance and functions should all be equal. It's just a matter of personal preference if a person wants a keyboard, a larger screen or both.

My wife and I are both upgrading to the new Bold 9930 once it drops on Sprint. Besides the amazing specs, and the touch screen (which IMO RIM provides excellent experience on Touch)... The CDMA version also sports GSM capacity, which means its a true upgrade from my 9650 as a world phone.
I'm with the guy in the parking lot on release day!
I wish that verizon had the 9780/9700....... I love my 9700, but I will be dropping the 9650 whenever verizon gets a better top of the line blackberry. The bold touch would be the only thing I drop the 9650 for.

I'll bring the coffee and doughnuts so our wait will be more enjoyable! LOL. I'm glad to see I am not the only crazy nut.

I saw your post and said "what!?!?! Wait?!?!?! I didn't say that!!!"
And then I realized I am not the only person with a whalers avatar!!!!!
I love my Bold 9650 but that Bold Touch looks like a winner to me. If Verizon gets it, I may go for it but not for a while yet since I'm only one year into my NE2 deal.
I've already posted in ths thread but I think I've changed my mind. I'm going to drop the 9650 for the Incredible 2 I think. It carries the same processor as the 9900 and is reported to have day long battery life. As awesome and speedy as the 9930 will be, I'm ready for a different OS. I'm hoping when QNX arrives it knocks my socks off enough that I come back.
Or who knows, I have 14 days to hate Android, right?

Only thing is, I am wondering about the glass screen. I've dropped my Tour plenty of times. No issues. I have friends that drop their Android phones with glass screens and they break sooner or later. So hopefully the screen will hold up well enough. I will get one.
