Are you guys going to drop the bolds you guys have now for the touch one? And do you think this phone will also put RIM back on top? Or close to it? I'm just curious how current bold users feel about the touch bold

I'll strongly consider it, it's just a matter what the price is going to be and if the funds are there. This phone is the real deal, nice big form factor, and seems to be way fast. I can see this phone being a big hit for RIM.

You could always sell your 9650 on ebay and get around 200-250 depending on the condition and pay the extra money for the touch if you really wanted it that bad

I'm going to suffer with my 9650 until the QNX phones come out. My contract will be up by then and I will have an upgrade.

Let's hope OS 7 has column view. And with the bigger screen, it should be right up your alley F2.

Nope. The Bold Touch is the size of the 9000, right? Too big for my tastes. Don't want a touch screen, either.
Besides, my 9650 is "enough phone for me" right now.

And what carriers are going to offer it?

Ditto. Toying with trading my 9650 in for more $, but I will likely hold onto it as a backup, just in case. Unless the 9930 is more than $199.

I am a huuuuuuge fan of column view. But I feel like the touch screen will make some of that moot. Not all....but some.

"They" say that Sprint will offer it late in Q2 of this year...

The screen is only slightly larger than the 9650(.4") so it will be interesting to see how well it works for touch flo. I'm really happy to see the touchpad included. This could be a really sweet device. I don't think the slightly larger size is going to be a bad thing at all, more ease of use is all. I think RIM is touting this as their thinnest ever BB.
