I recently upgraded os to 282... The os that let's you toggle between 2g or 3g. I have no need for 3g cause I have tmobile on my unlocked bold. Before on the 2 other os I tried my battery would be drained by the late afternoon early evening. But being able to turn off 3g now my bold has lasted me until the next day without a charge, and I still have almost half a battery with wifi on. Just a word to the wise. Hope this helps some of you

Mine would never make a 2nd day w/the stock battery. I bought a double life one for $17, and get 3 days out of it.

i think it depends on the apps your running. I was using Etrade all mourning and from 8am to around 2pm was my stock battery life. .266 os this is.

I am usually good until the night with os .266 and I do lots of browsing and texting. Minimal time on call so maybe that's why I can usually last.

its not only for unlocked phones my bold is locked and i can still change between 2g/3g with the .282 os. Its all over the os stick and overall i feel that the .282 os has a much better battery life than .266 and .247.
