Is there away to use the 9700 while in the air for domestic travel? For example, I want to use the media player on the device, but don't want to break any rules with the phone remaining on.

    Thanks!

Sure. Turn off the mobile network. You can still use the media player and even Slacker radio if you have stations cached on your microSD card.

Sure thing Ranger! We all start somewhere.

    1) Push your BlackBerry button to get into the menu
    2) Scroll to "Manage Connections" and click on it
    3) Should bring up a menu where you can scroll down and uncheck mobile network
    4) You are done! Enjoy!
