What is accelerometer?
it does have one
It's just left of the LED. If you make a call in a dark room, you can see it flashing.
It shuts the screen down when you're on a call by sensing your face next to it.
your not even close. an accelerometer detects screen tilts and things like that. you know when you put an iphone, droid or any phone like that from portrait to landscape, the accelerometer is the thing that changes the layout.
that would be a light sensor that does that.. the type of thing that allows the screen to auto dim.
an Accelerometer measures force and movement. take the playbook for example, when you tilt the screen it turns to the right way around.
The accelerometer is the part you calibrate while you sit wonging your arms about in a figure of 8 when using wikitude or the compass.
You're right. I was thinking of the proximity sensor. My head is hanging in shame right now.
Divert the attention, correct his grammar.
When did we start getting graded on grammar? Lol

About Grade 1 for most...:p
The accelerometer works in Need For Speed : Shift, but does not rotate web pages or pics. :(
The calibration in wikitude is for the Magnetometer NOT the accelerometer!
You've joined two independent clauses with a comma, which is known as a comma splice. :)
As for the accelerometer, the device does have one. You could see it in action when you play that roller coaster game. I'm glad it doesn't work with the rest of the OS though. One of the things I hate most about a lot of other phones these days is how the screen tilts with the phone.
