The screen size on a 9930 is 640x480, but wallpaper that size does not fit correctly. for them to fit right i have to use 480x360 anyone know why this is? Useing Bb OS 7.1.0 .755.

There is no reason why that is happening 640 x 480 is the size you need.
Are you sure that's the size you are trying?? Open the wallpaper in a photo app...like Paint.net or Photoshop. Are you sure they are not 640 x 480?
Yeah. This shouldn't be happening. Are you sure it's not backwards?
Hello friend! I'm not sure about the screen resolution but if you are using correct resolution files and facing the problem then read on!
I had same issue with all downloaded/transferred (except default options that come with the phone) files until recently when it struck me that what if i try to set the pic as wallpaper from thumbnail (gallery view) itself as wallpaper instead of opening it up and selecting the option when the picture is in full-screen view and that did the trick!! Let us know if that works for you.
I met on several sites 640*480 WPs and these didn't fit :cool: The image size was correct but... dunno
