Thanks rroyy, Stuck for 9930 official release.

But I would say .340 is much much better.

Nothing to be confused about. Verizon never dropped the OS to be downloaded on a PC.

Yes you can have it on the device. But re-install, etc you need a exe to install.

Which is what you have now

I can tell you the blessed OS has a couple annoying bugs like
    1. Vvm - when playing back a vvm, screen goes blank and you can not do anything until the voicemail is finished playing. (A real pita if you have longwinded messages)
    2. Sound profiles are a mess. Sometimes I get notification sounds, sometimes no.
    3. Lately I'm getting complaints about low call volume. People I speak to can't hear me or its garbled. Very annoying.
So....I'm in the process of debating which leak or other os options I have, but each time I decide on one....another leak comes out, so I haven't changed from the stock os. Oy vey

So far 7.0.0.254 is working solid for me too.

I must have good luck with Carrier official OSs because from my 1 and only Tour and all the official releases only I have never had any trouble with them and hope it is the same with my new 9930.

I am also very careful about what I load and install on my device which I think is key!

    John,
Are you using a new device like a 9900/9930 and if so what OS are you using? Just curious.

Can we download 9900 leaked OSes or is the 9930 limited to only the 9930 leaked OS?

Yes, you just have to delete the vendor.xml file prior to installing. On the PC it is found at: C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Research In Motion\AppLoader\Vendor.xml

Verizon throws on some vcast apps, there are also icon (links) to dowload apps. I just hid the ones I did not want.

Is this build completely functional, for you guys? I'm rather leery of VZW 's track record when it comes to updates, like these
