    Hi everyone.

Few hours ago I taked my Bold 9900 battery off to put another SIM (I turned off my Bold, then took out battery) 5 minutes late I set my SIM card and my battery back to my BB Bold 9900, red light turn on as usual but then nothing happened.

    The problem is:

My Blackberry Bold 9900 won't turn on. When I put battery into the device red light turn on ONCE then nothing happens.

I try reloading OS, AppLoader detects it as "PIN:UNKNOWN" then when it try to connect to the device after "Loading Operatin System" error appears saying that Loader.exe can't find the device.

I hope some one to helps me!.. Ty.

do a batt pull but keep the battery out and plug the charger in....wait about a minute after the red light goes off and the screen with light up telling you to plug the back in with a small icon...do that..

    it's worth a shot.

    I had done this already.

Take battery out, wait like 30 seconds then plug the charger, red light turn on a bit more than normal then NOTHING happens.

Yep., I had trayed another 9900 battery and the same.

Tested my battery on my friend's 9900 and worked 100%... I'm worried :S.

What happens when the unit is off (with battery installed) and you hook it to your computer via the USB cable? Will it start charging?

No... If battery is installed and I plug it into Computer/Charger NOTHING happens, but if I take battery off then plug device into Computer/Charger RED LIGHT comes out ONCE then nothing happens.

How about plug it into your computer and hold your end key down for a few seconds (like 10 seconds maybe)...

    May/may not help:
Phone switched off and red light blinks 4 times - BlackBerry Support Community Forums

some guy had his repaired: "reflow the mainboard and restore the OS"

Also mentioned: What to do next if Jl Cmder will not connect and wipe - BlackBerryFAQ
but that may not work for you based on what you described...

I Googled this topic, and lots of folks have had this issue!

Do a battery pull, then let device plugged on charger for about 2 hours (Without battery)., screen will light up showing battery icon, plug battery and realod OS if necessary.

I tried your solution, but it didn't work for me.....what can I do?
One morning, after I sent a text and received a call, my phone hung for a while, screen not changing, nothing happening. I decided to do a battery pull. Then the phone wouldn't come on again. No red light, no nothing. DM would not even recognize the phone. But my battery will charge up another phone.

I also bought my phone on ebay and I have no warranty whatsoever.

    Any other suggestions?
