Hello everyone,I love my bold but it won't go to EDGE even if i put 2g in settings! What's the problem?

I have the same issue on my att unlocked 9900 that I'm using on t-mobile I can do manual selection mode and select 2g it says being applied resets to no service then goes straight to 4g again?

It's probably due to weak signal.
( no reception )

Test it out in different locations.

Keep your phone mobile settings to automatic , 2G / 3G.
Then as you travel the device will choose the best signal.

( As I drive around , I glance at my phone and see it goes from EDGE to GPRS to 3G....)
