Hi there,

I have a perculiar problem with my 9900 since i got it. A slight bump to the phone causes it to shutdown. And it wont switch on afterwards, even if you do a battery pull. Pressure has to be exerted to the screen for the phone to switch on. I have updated the firmware several times already. Any input on the issue will be appreciated.

If it's under warranty get it checked.

You've got a bad/intermittent connection in there somewhere. Repair shop or warranty is the only remedy I'm afraid.

I was having this issue when I first got my 9930. I THINK it was because of either my memory card or SIM card. The memory card was kinda loose and once I made sure both cards were fit securely in their slot, the problem was over. Don't know if that was the cause or just a coincidence. It's been about a year and a half and my phone hasn't randomly shut off on me since.
