I like "The Weather Channel" (blue icon, and it lets you see the current temp on the icon itself.

About Gmail: Some years ago, in my 9700 I remember a stuff named "gmail plugin"
in my 9700 I was able to archive and label (and star) a gmail message.
in my new(old) 9900 I haven't those option.
Is gmail integration broken in time?

+1 for BeWeather – it's been my go-to weather app as long as I've been using a 9900

I'm not sure what this would add or whether it's still an option. Personally, I'm happy with the way Gmail works from the 9900 Email app under BIS

I don't get the emoji's if somebody uses the stickers emoji's they just don't show up, it's a great messaging app though because facebook shouldn't even be working, we take what we can get to continue using the Bold keyboard.

Sometimes I get what looks like a link to a site when someone posts an emoj to me. But I definately cannot see the emoj until I go to browser mode...

Thanks for the info. I'm also on att and tried this but couldn't get it to work. I've had to call them in the past for every swap which is a real pain. Any other suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks again!

I use, I think, The Weather Network. Icon is just the yellow sun. Free, works great. All sorts of features including radar map if I recall. Can display stuff on icon too, but I usually turn it off.
I had BeWeather but I prefer this one.

I've followed the steps but still can't send emails once completed on att. Thanks again for the info.

Just set up my 'new' #3 Bold 9900 and all appears to be working well, except for my BBM, which doesn't appear to recognise my user name, previous contacts etc.
Not quite sure where the problem lies, my BB ID on the device seems fine ... any ideas from the Bold crowd, can I reset my BBM ID!?

I'm having a similar problem w/ BBM on my 9900 also. Everything is working fine except for Group Chats. I setup mine several times over Thurs evening/Friday morning. So, hopefully it's just BBM acting up. I have another 9900 coming on Monday. :-)

For what it's worth, my group chats seem to be functioning as usual -- including the Protected work chat.

Solved it ...
Deleted BBM and then reinstalled from BB World. Then when restarting BBM it recognised that I was using a new device and asked whether I wanted to transfer - done!
Contacts, Channels preserved -
Now I only need to get back into the Still Bold group
