I dusted off my 9900 today boy that was a great phone. just wish the battery was better, afraid if I use it at work I will run out of battery, before the day is over. its setting at 60% now. just getting myself use to the track pad so when the classic comes I'II be ready.
I almost forgot the great time management apps I had on there. and using the menu track pad the classic will be a good upgrade I sold my Q.

I agree, to a point with the OP. Not only was the BB9900 great but it is still great. I also have and use my Q10, Z10, Z30, Nexus 5 but my BB9900 is still my primary device to use to "get things done". Every time I switch from my BB9900 to another device, it only lasts a couple of days till I go back to my BB9900

I agree! The Bold 9900 is a great device. The only problem of switching phones between a series 7 and a 10 is that the SIM card is different and you have to go to the carrier store and change it.

That or a 'Noosy' nano sim adapter kit would take care of that in a heartbeat..............That been said for a true OS7 experience you need BIS as opposed to only DATA on OS10. Since I have both I pay the extra $10.00 TMO-BIS monthly fees and constantly switch between devices. It does't matter how many times I try new ones it's always hard to let go of my trusty Bold !!!! Looking forward to try the Classic and see what happens.

My 9900 is currently being used as a white noise producer for my baby daughter while she sleeps, paired with the BT mini speaker. It used to be my alarm clock.

Apart from that, it really doesn't have much use for me anymore, but the fact that I haven't had to go out and spend more money because I had this sitting around is awesome.

The battery is much better than when I had it attached to a mobile network.

Just purchased one off eBay again brand new, orders the Nossey adapter, hoping it works with nano sim to use the 9900 again so I don't have to get a new sim.

Even with a nano-SIM, you don't need the adapter on the 9900. Just place your nano-SIM properly in the tray, and it will work fine, without moving.

I know, I use my nano-SIM interchangeably in my Passport and 9900 all the time.

I've tried it without an adapter but couldn't get it to work, might have it in the wrong way. I'll try again and see if I can get it to work.

I basically made my own adaptor. I bought a sim cutter from Amazon. Then I cut an old standard sim I had laying around to micro sim size. Next, I cut the leading edge out of the left over sim and used that as an adaptor. If you don't cut that leading edge out then the adaptor could get stuck under the sim cover on the 9900 and the pins may break. So I basically have 3 sides for the adaptor as the fourth side I cut out. Now I merely push in my micro sim then push in my adaptor to lock the sim into place. Easy peasy and I can swap between all my phones. I have BIS on my 9900.

Finally got it to work without an adapter, just had to get the Mano Sim lined up right. Cool to be back on a 9900 again!

there's a few that pop up in between the ones I need to keep. and battery was now to 35 % around three not the greatest but not to bad seeing I was back inside for the day.
charge and was ready to go when I left at 530. the speaker in gauge a few times while on the phone didn't like that. day two tomorrow

Totally agree. Battery and camera were two of the reasons I finally left my 9900....
